This hairpin is made from wood finished with a bog oak effect. The wood is carefully treated to recreate the deep, aged tones typically seen in wood that has spent centuries under water.
Oak takes on a very dark, almost black color with a dense, dramatic appearance.
Walnut becomes soft grey and slightly silvery, with a calm, muted texture.
The crescent moon shape is simple and balanced, comfortable for everyday wear. The hairpin holds hair securely and works well with many different hairstyles.
Each piece is carefully hand-sanded, leaving the surface smooth and pleasant to the touch.
Every hairpin has its own unique wood grain, so no two pieces are exactly the same.
